- 4oz apple pie flavored moonshine (Ole Smoky brand is ideal)
- 1oz lemon juice
- 4oz apple juice
- 1 cup water
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 1 cup white table sugar
- ½ sliced apple
Place water in a pot with 2 cinnamon sticks and 1 cup white table sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then cover and remove from the heat. Let stand 30 minutes, then strain to remove cinnamon before allowing it to cool the rest of the way to room temperature. Next, add moonshine to a cocktail shaker along with apple juice, lemon juice, and 2 ounces of the cinnamon syrup mixture you have just made. Add enough ice to fill about two-third of the way, then stir for 15 seconds. Strain and serve over fresh ice. Garnish with sliced apple and remaining 2 cinnamon sticks.
